Springfield is a town founded in 1847 by the railroad station off of Backlick Road. It is located in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia and consists of 4 zipcodes (22150, 22151, 22152 and 22154) with Interstate-95, I-395 and the Springfield interchange running through it giving residents easy access to commute into Washington D.C. and to all directions in the region. Other main roads that run through Springfield are Backlick Rd., Springfield-Franconia Parkway and Old Leene Mill Road. There is also the Franconia-Springfield Metro stop with available parking for commuters and is also next to the Springfield Mall on Frontier Drive. There are many other shopping options nearby.
