Arlington Heights is a nerghborhood listed in the National Register of Historic Places in Arlington County. This area was first platted in 1909 and subdivision developments continued until 1978. There are approximatly 50 buildings that remain from the period before 1935. The two main building periods consist of Pre and Post WWII and the Architectural styles vary from Colonial, Tudor, International and Craftsman. There are also homes that have been identified as prefabricated kit or mail order houses. Arlington Heights covers an area of 177 acres south of Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) and north of Columbia Pike (Route 244), east of Glebe Road and west of Fillmore street. It is minutes away from Fort Meyers, The Pentagon and 4 miles Washington D.C.
