Lyon Village is a sought after neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Construction of the first homes in Lyon Village began in1923 with many of the houses built in the 20's and 30's but there are some buildings that date back further. A variety of architectural styles are seen in Lyon Village from the Queen Anne style of the 1800's to the more modern styles of recent construction, all on tree lined streets. The community is located only minutes from Washington D.C. between Route 29 and Wilson Blvd and north of the Clarendon commercial district. It is an ideal place for commuters being minutes to I-66, I-395, the Washington Memorial Parkway and close to the Clarendon & Courthouse Metro stations as well as bus stops.
